Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for both the steering committee and IT to ensure that the ongoing management of the enterprise portal is effectively measured and reported upon to senior management, for the purpose of achieving continuous improvement.

The committee should periodically report on business benefits, while IT should periodically report on IT costs.
